Blood
Castle is an in-game event that rewards you with generous experience
for completing a set of quests. Basically you will be helping the
distressed Archangel retrieve his weapon from the creepy Blood Castle.
How do You
Enter Blood Castle?
Firstly, obtain a Cloak of Invisibility using the Chaos Machine in
Noria:
Cloak of
Invisibility = Blood Bone + Scroll of Archangel + 1 Chaos + Zen
Blood
Bone & Scroll of Archangel has to be the same type (e.g. Bone+5
must be combined with Scroll +5). Chance of success = 85 %
When
it's time for Blood Castle, warp to Devias town and talk to the
Messenger of
Archangel NPC to enter Blood Castle. MU tips: Unknown to
most
players, there are actually two Messengers - One inside Devias church
(209,9) and another one located just outside the bottom left corner of
the church (220,9)
5 Easy
Steps for Conquering Blood Castle
Step
1. Cross the Bridge to Reach the Castle Gates
Cross the bridge by slaughtering your way through overcrowded hordes
of savage monsters. Once you reach the end of the bridge you will see a
gap between the bridge and the castle gate.
Step 2. Close the
Gap Between the Bridge and Castle Gates by Killing Monsters
To close the
gap between the bridge and castle gap, you will have to kill a certain
number of monsters depending on the number of players inside Blood
Castle (MU tips: To check the quantity required, look at the number
displayed at
the bottom right of your screen)
MU Tips:
If your character or
party has limited killing power, target the weaker monsters such as the
Elite Skeleton Soldiers and Elite Skeleton Archers near the rest zone
to achieve your kill quota. Only make your way across the bridge to
access the castle gate when this is done.
Step 3: Attack and
Demolish the Castle Gates
Once you have
achieved the required number of kills, the gap between the bridge and
gate will close. You have to destroy the Castle Gates to
complete
Quest 1. Taking down the castle gates will be a pain to some players
due to their unusually high hit points especially in the advanced Blood
Castles.
MU Tips:
Although the Castle Gates will need a severe
beating, the good news is that they can be damaged even before the gap
between the bridge and the gates close.
If any of your party
member has ranged damage (DW, AE, DL or Energy MG), it is recommended
that your party squeeze your way to the end of the bridge. From there,
they will be able to weaken the gate and rack up monster kills at the
same time.
Step 4. Access the
Weapon Casket by Butchering the Magic Skeletons
Once the gates are breached, butcher your way
into the castle. Inside the castle, you will encounter more deadly
enemies such as the Magic Skeletons. There will usually be about 10 of
these fearsome monsters awaiting you.
The number of Magic
Skeletons you have to toast will once again depend on how many players
there are inside your Blood Castle. Once you have butchered enough, a
casket containing the Archangel's beloved weapon will emerge from the
ground.
MU Tips:
Magic Skeletons in Blood Castle 6 & 7 are
excellent for harvesting sexy items as they are high level monsters and
they almost always drop items (instead of Zen). If you or your party is
progressing well, it may pay off handsomely to kill off every single
Magic Skeletons before you complete the event.
Step 5. Shatter the
Weapon Casket and Return the Weapon to the Archangel
As you
probably guessed it, you will have to destroy the Casket to complete
Quest 2. Once the Casket is shattered, pick up the insanely powerful
Archangel weapon and return it to the dismal Archangel in the rest area
to finish Quest 3 and end the entire Blood Castle event.
Congratulations!
MU Tips:
If you have a wizard in your party,
let him pick up the Archangel weapon whenever possible. As he has
teleport, he will be able to reach the Archangel without having to
physically clear a blood path through the monsters.
Which
Blood Castle Level do You Fight in?
The
Blood Castle difficulty your character has to face depends largely on
your character level and type. Basic Character refers to Dark Knight,
Dark Wizard and Elf. The level requirements of Magic Gladiators and
Dark Lords will be about 20 levels lower than that of Basic Characters.

How Much
Experience do You Gain from Blood Castle?
The Blood Castle event consists of 3 quests and experience will be
rewarded for the completion of each quest. If you manage to complete
all 3 quests, you also will be given bonus experience depending on how
much time is left. Remember that you only have 15 minutes to accomplish
all 3 tasks.
Quest 1 = Tear down the Castle Gate
Quest 2 = Shatter the Casket that seals the Archangel Weapon
Quest 3 = Return the Archangel Weapon to the Archangel
Bonus Experience = Time left (in seconds) x Time Factor

MU Tips: During
experience events where the experience bonus is X 9 or
higher, you actually will earn more experience just by mass killing the
monsters on the bridge instead of completing the quests.
This is due to the incredible spawn rate of the monsters in Blood
Castle and the fact that the experience rewarded for quest completion
remains the same.

When
Can You Take Part in Blood Castle?
Blood
Castle is available on P2P+ (Gold) server every 1 hour while P2P
(Silver) players can take a swing at Blood Castle every 2 hours. To
find out the time remaining for the next Blood Castle, just right click
on your Cloak of Invisibility anytime.
