The
Chaos Castle your character belongs to largely on your MU On line
character level
and type. The level requirements of Magic Gladiators and Dark Lords is
about 20 levels lower than that of other MU On line characters
including Dark Knights, Dark Wizards
and Elfs.
6 Crucial
Facts You Should Know for Winning Chaos Castle
As
we all know, there is no one sure-fire strategy for emerging victorious
in Chaos Castle. However, there are a few ways of drastically improving
your chances:
1. Only Use +1
Healing Potions for Chaos Castle
Although
they cost more, +1 healing potions are worth every extra Zen as you
will need near instant life recovery in the fast and furious killing
arena of Chaos Castle. This is especially crucial for low health MU On
line
characters such as Agility Elfs and Dark Wizards.
2. Popular
Character Class & Builts for Different Levels of Chaos Castle
If
you are crafting a MU On line character just to battle for Chaos
Castle, generally
PvP builts with generous hit points tend to perform better. Of course
there are always exceptions but these are popular and proven character
classes for the different Chao Castle levels:
Chaos Castle 1: Agility Elf (High Def) and Strength Dark Lord (High Dmg
from Fireburst)
Chaos Castle 2: Strength Dark Lord (Combination of High Def &
Dmg)
Chaos Castle 3: Strength Dark Lord and Blade Knight
Chaos Castle 4: Blade Knights (Combo becomes available)
Chaos Castle 5: Blade Knights (High Def/Hp & High Dmg from
Combo) & Soul Masters (Nova becomes available)
Chaos
Castle 6: Blade Knights (Very High Hp and High Dmg from Combo)
&
Soul Masters (Improved Hp and Nova is very effective for killing
monster players and pushing human players out of the arena)

3. Never Neglect
Your SD - It is as Crucial as Your Health Points!
Make
sure you have your SD and Complex potions all bottled and ready. For
PvP battles in MU On line, 90% of the damage taken goes straight to
your SD bar while your
health points absorb the blow for the remaining 10%.
SD
potions only restore your SD bar while Complex potions are like 2 in 1
shampoos and heal both your health points and SD at the same time. SD
potions are manufactured using the Chaos Machine while Complex potions
can be farmed from mid to high level MU On line monsters:
Small Complex Potion = Drop Rate 1%, From monsters level 68+
Medium Complex Potion = Drop Rate 0.8%, From monsters level 96+
Large Complex Potion = Drop Rate 0.5%, From monsters level 118+
Small SD Restore Potion = 3 Large Healing Potion + 100,000 Zen (50%
Success)
Medium SD Restore Potion = 3 Small Complex Potion + 500,000 Zen (30%
Success)
Large SD Restore Potion = 3 Medium Complex Potion + 1,000,000 Zen (30%
Success)
4. Remember to
Exploit the Storage Space in Your Personal Store
In
Chaos Castle, the fast and furious battles will have you devouring
potions like a crazed camel. Remember to keep a sizable stash of
Healing, Mana, Complex and SD potions so that you won’t be out of stock
while being chased down by three other blood thirsty players.
Your
inventory is made up of 64 spaces and using your store will instantly
expand your storage capacity to a whopping 96 spaces. As the items in
store are harder to access, use it to hold less crucial items such as
imps, angels and Mana potions.
Remember that for MU On line your potions can
only be drunk from the inventory so as you begin to run out of potions,
press shortcut keys “I” followed by “S” to swiftly access your store
and find a quiet spot to transfer your potions into your inventory.
5. Watch Your Feet
and Stay Inside the Arena
In
Chaos Castle, simply being able to stay inside the arena is a worrying
challenge in itself. Nothing is more frustrating than being rudely
tossed out of Chaos Castle just because you were too engrossed in the
fiery bloodbaths to care.
During Chaos Castle, you will soon
notice that the arena will start shrinking as time wears on. If you
happen to be careless enough to be standing on the collapsing regions,
you will instantly fall to your death. To avoid this horrifying fate,
always try to stay in the middle of the platforms until the arena has
shrunk to its minimum size.
When the computer players are killed
in Chaos Castle, they go with a bang and their exploding corpses may
actually shove you out of the arena. This is one reason to avoid large
mobs of computer players especially when you have crazed mass damage
characters like Soul Masters with Nova and Dark Lords with Fire Scream
lurking nearby.
6. There are TWO
Ways You Can Win Chaos Castle
Until
today, it surprises me how even some experienced MU On line players
tend overlook
the simple fact that there are not one, but two completely different
ways to win Chaos Castle.
The first way to victory is something
that everyone and their 3 year old nephew will know: Be the last man
standing in Chaos Castle. Kill everyone, survive the onslaughts and
enjoy your prize. This direct and brutal method is more geared for high
powered PvP builds such Blade Knights armed with generous health and
Combo skills and Agility Elfs loaded with Ice Arrows.
The second
path to wining Chaos Castle is more subtle but equally important. If
there is more than one human player alive when Chaos Castle ends,
victory is rewarded to the player with the most points. You earn 2
points for every computer player killed and 1 point for each human
player terminated.
This is how cunning Soul Masters with
Teleport and Nova reign supreme by mass blasting monster players and
sneakily avoiding combat with human players with skillful
teleportation. If you can’t take victory by force, you steal it by
guile.
When Can
You Take Part in Chaos Castle?
Chaos
Castle is available every 4 hours in Free to play servers, every 3
hours for Silver servers and every 2 hours for Gold servers. The good
news is that the Chaos Castle timings for the different MU On line
servers usually
do not clash so if you are a Gold player you can actually join up to 23
Chaos Castle events daily (provided you can survive without sleep of
course)
